Terms of use

By using logiXweb Maps you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

1. About these terms

logiXweb Maps (maps.logixweb.in, “the platform”) is operated by [registered name of logiXweb], Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India (“we”, “us”). The platform is an online directory that helps people find and contact local businesses. We are an intermediary: businesses and users publish their own information, and any deal for goods or services is directly between the customer and the business.

2. Using the platform

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, list a business, write a review or send an enquiry.
• Searching and viewing listings is free. Viewing a business phone number may require a short step where you enter your name and mobile number, to protect businesses from spam.
• You agree to give true information and to use the platform only for lawful purposes.

3. Accounts and login

• You log in with your email and a one-time code. Keep access to your email secure — anyone with access to it can log in to your account.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else is using it.
• Team accounts (managers, field executives) are for authorised logiXweb staff only.
• You can delete your account at any time from My account → Account.

4. Contacting businesses

• When you send an enquiry or ask for quotes, you agree that we pass your details to the business(es) concerned so that they can reply to you.
• Businesses may use your details only to respond to your enquiry. They must not add you to marketing lists, sell or share your details, or contact you after you ask them to stop.
• Prices, availability and service quality are decided by each business. Check details, ask for a written quote or bill and pay the business directly. We do not collect payments for services offered by listed businesses.

5. Listing policy (for business owners)

Who can list

• You may list a business only if you own it or are authorised by the owner. Our field team lists a business only with the owner's permission, and the owner can claim and control it at any time.
• One page per business location. Duplicate pages may be merged or removed.

What your listing must contain

• The real business name, address, category and a working phone number.
• A description in your own words. Don't copy text from other websites.
• Photos you took yourself or have the right to use (up to 4 photos plus a logo).
• Correct timings and prices. Keep them up to date.

Not allowed in listings

Content that is false or misleading; fake offers, discounts or “free” claims that are not real; illegal goods or services; adult or obscene content; content that is defamatory, hateful, threatening or that harms children; content that infringes someone else's trademark, copyright or privacy; impersonation of another person or business; contact details of someone else without permission; malware or links to harmful sites; and anything that violates Indian law, including the content listed in Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

Our review and our rights

• New listings and important changes (name, phone) are checked by our team before they go live.
• We may edit formatting, correct the category or locality, hide or remove a listing that breaks these rules, and we will tell the owner why. Owners can appeal through our grievance process.
• Listings that stay unreachable or closed may be marked as such or removed.

6. Review policy

• Reviews must describe your own genuine experience with the business.
• Reviewers verify their email with a one-time code. Every review is checked by our team before it is published.
• Business owners, their staff, relatives and competitors must not review the business. Reviews must not be bought, swapped or rewarded (discounts, gifts, cash or any other incentive).
• We remove reviews that are fake, abusive, off-topic, contain personal data or advertising, or break the law. We do not remove reviews just because they are negative.
• Businesses cannot pay to remove or hide reviews. They can reply publicly and can report a review they believe breaks these rules; we will look at it and decide fairly.
• Your name, rating and review are public. Your email is never shown.

7. The “Verified” badge

“Verified” means our team confirmed the business phone number and/or visited the business or checked a document the owner provided. Each verified business gets an ID (for example LXW-BIZ-0012) that anyone can check on our Verify page. The badge is not a recommendation, licence, certification or guarantee of price, quality or results. We may remove the badge if information changes or complaints show it is no longer accurate.

8. Sponsored positions (advertising)

• Businesses may pay for a “Sponsored” position for a category in a locality or city. Sponsored listings are always clearly labelled and are shown separately from or above other results.
• Prices are shown on the Advertise page and agreed before booking. Taxes are extra as applicable. A booking runs for the agreed period and is not a promise of any number of calls, enquiries or sales.
• Payment does not change ratings, reviews or the content rules. A sponsored listing must follow the listing policy; if it doesn't, we may pause it.
• If we cancel a booking without the advertiser being at fault, we refund the unused period. If a booking is paused because the listing broke these rules, the unused period may not be refunded, and the advertiser can use our grievance process.

9. Prohibited use

You must not: copy, scrape or harvest listings, phone numbers or reviews (by bots, scripts or manually in bulk); use business numbers for telemarketing, spam or resale; send fake enquiries; try to break, overload or test the security of the platform without written permission; create accounts with false identities; or use the platform to harass anyone.

10. Your content and our content

• You keep ownership of the text, photos and reviews you submit. You give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, format and share that content on the platform and in our promotion of the platform (for example, showing a business page on social media). This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already shared or required by law.
• You confirm that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
• The logiXweb Maps name, logo, design and software belong to us. Don't use them without our written permission.
• If you believe content on the platform infringes your copyright or trademark, write to our Grievance Officer with details; we will act on valid notices.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Listings, reviews and other user content come from businesses and users, not from us. We work to keep the platform accurate and safe, but we provide it “as is” and do not guarantee that any listing is complete, current or error-free, or that the platform will always be available.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your dealings with a listed business or from relying on user content. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim (or [₹1,000] if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts or remove content that breaks these terms or the law, after giving reasons where reasonably possible. You may stop using the platform and delete your account at any time.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue (see section 14). If it is not resolved, courts at [Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh] will have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have as a consumer to approach the consumer commission of your place.

14. Contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the platform after an update, the new terms apply.
